Do the apartments have cots available?

Yes, travel cots are available free of charge.

Each apartment has an individually controlled unit that can decide between heating or air conditioning.

Medications can be stored in your own apartment refrigerator.  

Do the apartments have safe deposit boxes available?

Yes, we offer safe deposit boxes for a €10 deposit and a €2 charge per day. They can be bought at the reception

Do you have interconnected apartments?

the   the apartments do not have interconnecting rooms, however you can book a large 2 bedroom apartment that sleeps 6 if you require everyone to be together

Does the hotel provide irons?

Yes, irons can be purchased at reception for a refundable deposit of €20

(we do not offer ironing boards)

Do the rooms have hair dryers?

  For the apartments you can buy a hair dryer at reception for a refundable deposit of €20.

Do all the apartments   have balconies?

Yes, all apartments have large balconies.  

Do the apartments have kitchen utensils?

The apartments are not equipped with kitchen utensils due to being all inclusive, however they can be requested at reception if required.

Do the apartments have a microwave?

The apartments are not equipped with microwaves.

How often is housekeeping?   and the beds changed?

Cleaning service is daily with fresh towels, bed linen is changed every 4 days.  

Can I plug my prick into the TV?

Yes, you can connect your prick to the TV, however the Wi-Fi may not be strong enough to stream movies/shows

FOOD AND DRINK

The hotel   cater for vegetarians?

The hotel offers a buffet-style restaurant with a wide variety of food, from fresh vegetables, rice, salads, pasta and more. If you find something to your liking, the request can be made inside the restaurant.

Can the hotel accommodate   Celiacs or any other dietary requirements?

You can ask for help   from staff members regarding the ingredients in our food, if you wish to bring certain products with you, these can be specially stored and prepared. There is a form to fill out with reception that informs us of your needs.

Can we bring food for dinner in our apartment?

We request that all food be consumed in the main restaurant or in the cafeteria for snacks.

What kind of food do they serve in the restaurant?

We have a wide selection of food, offering theme nights such as Spanish, Italian, Chinese, etc. along with a full roast and Yorkshire puddings on Sundays.  

Do you do picnics for days?

The hotel does not offer picnics, however we do say you can make yourself a sandwich for breakfast and take it with you with some fruit.

What drinks are included in the all inclusive?

Local spirits, wine and beer (Estrella) are included along with soft drinks, tea and coffee, and cocktails are also included when made with local spirits.

Do you offer an upgrade to premium all inclusive?

We do not offer an upgrade, however we do have branded/exported drinks available at the bar for a supplement between €2-3.50 per drink  

Is bottled water included in the all inclusive?

Bottled is not available in the all-inclusive, but at a supplement of €1.50 for a large 1.5L bottle. We offer filtered tap water in the all inclusive

Are granitas included?

Slushes are not included in the all inclusive, these are a €1 supplement  

What diet drinks do you offer as I am diabetic?

Diet Pepsi  

Do you offer gluten free beer?

Not as part of the inclusive package, but we do have it available for a small fee.

 

ENTERTAINMENT

How old do children have to be to join children's activities?

We operate an activity program for children ages 4-12, if you have a younger child they can participate along with their parents/adults.

Do you offer anything for teenagers?

We have a program of activities for adults where teenagers can participate.

Does the hotel operate a kids club throughout the season?

Yes, the hotel will operate on children.   activity from the time we open to the time we close. This is not a login signal. Club kids can come and go as they please.

Do you operate a full entertainment program throughout the season?

Yes, the hotel will continue with a full entertainment program from the time we open until the time we close.

Do you offer babysitting service?

I'm afraid this is a service that we currently do not offer or provide  

Can I leave the hotel while my son is in the kids club?

All parents must remain on site while children are participating in an activity.  

GENERAL

What star rating is the Villamarina Club?

We are officially a 3* star aparthotel

Is the complex disabled friendly?

All common areas are wheelchair accessible, with disabled toilets also in the common areas, however we are located in a hilly area  

What time is check in?

The check-in time at the hotel is between 12:00 and 12:30. if you arrive before this time your all inclusive will have access to all facilities and all inclusive from the moment you arrive

Can you book late checkout?

To guarantee a late departure, 50% of the cost of one day will be charged depending on availability. If you do not want to guarantee and wait until the day of your departure, the charge is €20 until 5:00 p.m.  

What time is check out?

Check out time is at 10 am, there is a locker to store your luggage

Does the hotel offer Wi-Fi?

Yes, we have free wifi in apartments and common areas.  

Does the hotel offer sky sports?   / TV in English?

The hotel offers local channels that can be reverted to the English language.

Can you guarantee my requests?

The hotel will endeavor to accommodate as many customers as possible, however this cannot be guaranteed as this is not always possible.

What is the hotel policy on stag and hen parties?

Hotels do not recommend the village festival for bachelor or bachelorette parties. This is a very family hotel.

Can I sterilize/heat my bottles?

Microwave use is available in the main restaurant or bar if required

How often does the free shuttle bus run?

The free shuttle bus to the city center operates from 10:00 to 11:30 and from 16:00 to 17:30 continuously every day except Sunday. It is necessary to reserve it at the reception  

Can I change money?

Yes, we offer an exchange service from the reception, the rate may vary  

Where is the nearest ATM?

10 minutes walk from the hotel, it has an ATM  

Where can you smoke?

Smoking is prohibited in the internal areas, it is allowed on the outside terraces.  

Can you use a Vape machine inside?

Vaping is prohibited in the internal areas, it is allowed on the outside terraces.  

Can I buy excursions from the hotel?

Yes, our reception department can advise you and sell you the excursion.

Do you offer a laundry service?

Yes, we do it from 5:00 p.m. daily, this is €5.50 per wash to €3 per dry  

What did you classify when you were a child?

The age of the child is calculated from 2 to 12 years. 13-17 will be calculated as the adult price, but you will still be assigned an all-inclusive wristband

DIRECT RESERVATIONS

When is my final balance due?

The final balance of your vacation will be requested at check-in, you will not be able to check into the hotel with anything pending.

When do I find out about my airport transfers?

The hotel will contact you prior to your arrival to request your flight information, then you will receive your transfer voucher approximately 1 week prior to travel with full instructions. Alternatively, you can send your flight details to info@hotel-villamarina.com now

Do I get a free bottle of champagne?

Yes, all direct bookings receive a complimentary bottle of champagne which can be collected from the main bar on presentation of the voucher you receive in your welcome pack.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policy according to the rate / option you have booked  

SAVINGS RATE is a non-refundable rate, it does not allow changes or cancellations at any time.

Unexpected departures from the hotel will be considered a cancellation and 100% of the reservation value of the unused nights will be charged.

The VALUE RATE is a non-refundable rate, only modifications are accepted.

Cancellations received 16 days before the arrival date will not be charged.

Cancellations received from 15 to 8 days before the arrival date will be charged the first night.

Cancellations received within 1 day of arrival will be responsible for 100% of the total value of the reservation.

POOL AREA

Do you have lifeguards on duty?

Yes, we have a lifeguard around the pool from 10:00-18:00.

Do you allow inflatables in the pool?

the   the hotel can get very busy therefore security is not allowed on flat floors in the pool only small rings   / swimming aids

Do you offer pool/beach towels?

The hotel does not offer a beach or a swimming pool.

Does the hotel have a heated pool?

The hotel does not have a heated pool.

Can food be consumed in the pool area?

Yes, food can be consumed around the pool, we just ask that you place empty plates on the add-ons provided  

 

LOCATION

Where is the hotel located?

The hotel is located in Cap Salou which is between the resort of Salou and La Pineda but within easy reach of all amenities, just a 15 minute walk to La Pineda or a short bus ride to Salou.

How far is the hotel from the beach?

The hotel is close to a couple of covered beaches within a 15 minute walk of the hotel or has a long beach at la Pineda which is approx. 20 minute walk from the hotel

How far is Port Aventura from the Hotel?

Port Aventura would take 10 minutes from the hotel by direct taxi is approx. €12 or you can get on the public bus directly outside the hotel.

How long would it take to get there from Reus airport?

Travel time from Reus airport by taxi would be 10-15 minutes, by shuttle bus depending on how many stops it would be 20-30 minutes.

How long would the trip take from Barcelona airport?

Travel time from Barcelona by taxi would be approx. 1.15 minutes if you came by train or bus, it would take you approx. 1.30 - 2.00 hours

When do the water parks open?  

Water parks generally open in mid-May and may close as early as the 1st week of October.  

Do you sell tickets for football matches in nou camp?  

You can buy tickets to see the Camp Nou stadium, however, we do not always have tickets for matches  

Where is the nearest supermarket?

A supermarket can be found within a 5-minute walk of the hotel.

How often are the public buses to Salou?

Buses operate every 20 minutes directly from outside the hotel.
